The American Diploma at grade point average 2.50 or above admits to a private university, subject to Ghana Tertiary Education Commission evaluation.

Evaluation is a step taken after graduating, not a gate on enrolling. Its test is the accreditation of the awarding school.

The University of the West Indies, Mona admits the American Diploma at grade point average 3.0 with SAT 1200, under normal matriculation.

SAT 1200 is load-bearing — without it the route does not open, which is why SAT preparation is part of the programme rather than an extra. The route is Mona's, not UWI-wide.
